Refund & Returns

This Refund & Returns Policy explains how Form8 Life Sciences Pvt Ltd (“Form8”) handles returns, replacements, and refunds for products purchased through our official channels once e-commerce checkout is enabled. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Shipping Policy. If you have questions, contact info@formeight.in with your order ID.

Seven-day return window (unopened goods)

We accept returns of unopened products within seven (7) calendar days of the date of delivery as recorded by the courier’s proof of delivery. To initiate a return, email info@formeight.in with your order ID, the product name, and clear photographs showing the intact tamper-evident seal and outer packaging. Returns without prior approval may be refused at our warehouse.

Buyer pays return shipping for change-of-mind returns, except where the product was defective on arrival or not as described, in which case we will arrange a prepaid return label or reimburse reasonable return courier charges upon production of valid receipts, as determined by our support team.

Return conditions

Returned items must be in original, salable condition, with all labels, batch codes, and packaging intact. We cannot accept returns of opened, partially used, or resealed products for food-safety and traceability reasons, except where Indian law mandates otherwise for a specific category or where the product is defective or adulterated. Bundles must be returned complete unless only one unit within the bundle was defective and we authorise a partial return in writing.

If you received a free promotional item with your purchase and return the main product, the promotional item must also be returned unused or its value may be deducted from your refund.

Refund timeline and method

Once we receive and inspect the returned item at our designated facility, we will notify you of approval or rejection within a reasonable period, typically within three (3) business days of receipt. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within seven (7) to ten (10) business days from approval, depending on your bank or card issuer’s settlement cycles. UPI and wallet refunds may post faster but are still subject to partner timelines outside our control.

If the original payment method is no longer valid, we may require alternate verification before issuing a bank transfer refund, which may take additional time for compliance checks.

Cash on Delivery (COD) refunds

Where COD is offered (subject to order limits and risk checks), refunds for eligible returns will generally be processed by bank transfer to an account you designate, or by other lawful means we communicate at the time of approval. We may require identity verification and bank proof matching the order name to prevent fraud. COD refunds cannot be made in cash by courier for safety and audit reasons.

Defective, damaged, or wrong item on arrival

If a product arrives damaged, leaking, with a broken seal not caused by transit handling visible on outer packaging, or if you received the wrong SKU versus your order confirmation, notify us within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery with photographs of the outer box, inner packing, batch label, and the issue. We may offer a replacement, full refund including return shipping we arrange, or another remedy consistent with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and our quality commitments.

Suspected adulteration or serious quality complaints may be escalated for investigation; we may request retention of the sample until the matter is resolved with the manufacturer and courier as applicable.

Non-returnable situations

We do not accept returns merely because you dislike taste or texture where the product is food-grade and correctly labelled, unless applicable law provides otherwise. Customised or made-to-order items (if introduced in future) will be marked non-returnable at purchase.
